The following are recent projects. Please call to discuss your needs.
S/V Bermuda Oyster
Bermuda Oyster is an Oyster 435 that regularly participates in Inshore and offshore races and is also used by the owner to cruise long distances. The existing chart plotter and radar system on the boat was failing and a replacement was needed to participate in the 2009 Marion to Bermuda Race.
The system chosen was the Garmin GPSMAP 4208 with g2 Vision card, a NMEA2000 GPS antenna and an 18” Digital Radome. The display is powerful enough to be used as the primary navigation system but compact enough not to “take over” the navigation station. The display is linked into the other boat electronics so that all of the boat information is available on the plotter.
Garmin GPSMAP4208, Garmin GMR18 Radome on a Scanstrut Backstay Mount, Garmin N2000 Antenna
ICOM M710 SSB, ICOM M402 VHF, Raymarine ST6001+ Autopilot, B&G Hydra, Xantrex2000 Battery Monitor System, Stereo System, Furuno GP32 GPS System.
M/V Impulsion 20ft Grady White
The customer required a combined fish-finder and plotter display on a Grady White split screen powerboat. Space on the dash was a consideration so the system chosen was a Garmin GPSMAP 521 display with an in-hull transducer for depth.
